The Stormwoods

The Stormwoods are the name given to the dense pine forests found rampant through Gamall. The forests are always dark and difficult to traverse through, named for frequent lightning strikes in the areas during storms. The towering trees, leaf and root covered ground and piles of rocks make home to some of the most interesting and dangerous creatures Harodra has to offer. Travelling off the beaten paths is a most dangerous choice.

When a particularly nasty storm riles up, a natural phenomenon known as the Stormwinds might occur. Here, the winds whip up and the trees conduct electricity, sending the lightning strikes scattering through the forest like webs. Most wildlife is known to hide from these events, but humanoids caught in the event can suffer heavy injuries.
