The Handymen
The most major criminal gang in Gamall. The Handymen are a large organization of thieves, assassins, bounty hunters, smugglers and various other criminals, mainly operating out of Farhold and Stackfort. Members tend to have a calligraphed “H” tattooed on their wrist. They are a well known nuisance to the kingdom and no matter how many of their plans are thwarted or men are arrested, there always seem to be more. They often try employ beggars and poor folks from Farholds slums to offer them a chance to work, but usually force them to stay via blackmail and cruelty.
Nobody knows who truly leads the Handymen bar select few. Those in the gang are typically bossed around by a woman named Shey Nadir and her bodyguard, a Leonin named Mela Rippart. But Shey actually works for a small group of rich nobles who truly run the Handymen from the shadows.
Nolmer Nookbelt - A master thief and lockpicker, Nolmer made his riches from selling security to many rich folk, but sometimes sneaking back in to steal what he could. He has a hideout in the Stormwoods where he has a community of burgeoning thieves and criminals that he teaches various skills.
Leonida Pangretta - A well known seller of antiques and artefacts, he even has his own store known as the Mayand Emporium in Farholds upper section. He is a kind, charismatic man that actually hides many of the Handymens darker plans. Mainly, the Treasurer - A sentient mimic indebted to Leonida after he was given a band of intellect. The Treasurer controls a whole hoard of mimics, that lie dormant in most of the Handymens hideouts and warehouses until they are needed to kill people snooping around.
Finally, Mr. Brent Trenswall. A famed and brilliant architect loved by the masses for the riches he brings into the Kingdom. But Trenswall is actually a heartless, merciless mobster who will blackmail and bully his way into any power necessary. If you know that he is part of the Handymen, it is because he knows you would never be able to tell anyone. He rules the Handymen from his hotel, The Magpie Suite, found on the Farhold Boardwalk
