Starlock, House of Silver

A mysterious and whispered faction, House Starlock are an unconventional noble group who made a name for themselves in the Kingdoms early years. A few Starlock’s protected settlements from dark spirits, fey, curses and more that resided in the lands. Soon they amassed, fame, money and wealth - ordered by the king to act as defenders and slayers of the unknown.

The Starlocks built a mansion deep in the woods, raising generations of assassins and monster slayers, many of whom where orphans they took in. The training is grueling, but they are said to never push too far. Currently led by Morgan and Rosie Starlock, and their several children, the Starlocks are sent out to wander Gamall, hunting and killing Fey, Fiends and any otherworldly threats they find. They have jurisdiction over Wolfsguard, able to order them if needs be, but they tend to work alone.

The Starlock name is held with respect, but also with an underlying fear. They are known to wear heavy trenchoats, hoods or hats that cover most of their appearance. They are well spoken, but calculating and intimidating, often armed with the best weaponry the Kingdom has to offer. Nearly all Starlocks have firearms, their armory rumoured to hold hundreds of them. A Starlock coming to town is usually a bad omen of dangerous creatures nearby, but they nearly always drive them out.
