Stackfort

Population - 12,900 Stackfort is a city situated on an island in South Eastern Gamall, very close to Villr borders. It is a naval city that holds the Kingdoms major naval might, often home to the Naval Commander and several high ranking Admirals. Its name comes from its strange architecture, where houses and streets seem to be stacked atop one another, gradually rising like a pyramid. For non-locals navigation can be difficult, but coupled with its island location Stackfort is almost impossible to attack.

The military here are all also navally trained, the city itself draped in many naval decorations that give it a unique look. Trade is common here, especially between the Villr capital of Perlshaw. However, crime is also dangerously common here. The city is used as a midpoint for illegal trade and import, the winding streets making the perfect backdrop for hiding illegal activities.

According to legend, the city was built by Zoria and Jestred, who decided to play a game. The game was to stack as many things atop each other without them falling. Eventually early Gamallians joined in, resulting in houses and streets being stacked. After the Sundering, the Kingdom found the fledgeling settlement and decided to expand it due to its strategic location.
