Otterfolk Otten

A species of humanoid Otters that live in dugout homes around Loch Jolith, The Downs and Free Country. They are a community based species who rarely travel inland to settlements, but as with any other race situations may arise that call for it. Otten are usually quite small, only larger than the average otter but they tend to walk around in a bipedal manner. They are capable swimmers, spending much of their time fishing and farming.

While not typically religious, Otten have a spiritual belief that they are deeply rooted in the earths origin. The truth is questionable, but Otten settlements are almost never attacked by the roaming beasts of Harodra. Otten believe this should extend to their guests, thus treating all travelers with kindness so as to avoid any conflict.
