Mhaug

A troglodytic goblinoid species dwelling within the cave systems of Middgard, Mhaugs combine a set of very powerful evolutionary traits. They have long limbs like bugbears, with similar hair on their backs, but the rest of their body features sets of mottld chitinous plates that protect them from blows. They prefer their own company, but often trade with other tribes and clans throughout Middgard.

During the crusades the Mhaugs are very deadly shock troops. Capable of digging tunnels and attacking unseen without warning, there are many cautionary rules to dealing with Mhaugs during the crusades. Whilst the Mhaugs would be content to be left alone, they will fight with savage bloodlust to protect their home and people.
