Loch Jolith

A large freshwater Loch situated above the dawn coast. It is a respected location where people travel for nice relaxing views, fishing trips or camping. It is also home to the Otten, a species of native Otterfolk who lived here far before the sundering. They live in small dens along the waterside of the Loch. The area is a hub for wildlife, mainly unaffected by civilisation. The otten respect the land, keeping it clean for the wilds to drink from.

The Otten tell travellers tales of the Loch’s creation. It is believed a huge army of raiders from Kaldr sought to kill the Great Bison Kiri’Jolith and all of his beastial creations. In retaliation, the deity pummelled them all into the ground forming the loch, which gradually filled with rain water over thousands of years. It may be a tall tale, but a good story nonetheless.
