Insectfolk Thri-Kreen

The Thri-Kreen are tall, humanoid-esque insects complete with multiple arms, mandibles and chitinous shells. They are sometimes born with wings, which then elevates them to positions of power among their people. The Thri-Kreen are very strange peoples, likely mortal followers of Klixix during his time on the material world. This is proved further by the fact they are only found natively in the swamps of Willow Mire and Needle Run.

Despite their alien, somewhat frightening, appearance the Thri-Kreen are intelligent, friendly and more than willing to trade or help other that stumble into their lands. They have strange nest like homes which constantly move as they tend to avoid threats rather than face them head on. Thri-Kreen rarely leave the confines of their colonies, but make an exciting sight when they do.
