Hexblood

One of the rarest species in Harodra, a Hexblood is an individual cursed by a hag. Finding a hag is difficult, let alone not being killed by it. Hexbloods are often specifically chosen, rarely out of their own free will. Hags might curse them to do their bidding, or raise them to be Hexborn from childhood. A Hexborn often looks very similar to usual, but as they grow older they start to contort and grow, eventually turning into a hag themselves.

Hexborn are almost all female, but some male examples have been found by Starlocks. The Starlocks themselves will hunt and kill any Hexborn, usually in an attempt to find the Hag that turned them in the first place. Being a Hexborn provides little will or safety in Harodra.
