Genasi

Genasi resemble their usual race, but take traits from one of the four major elements. Earth, Air, Fire and Water. For example, a Fire Genasi might have red skin and flaming hair. An Earth Genasi may have skin textured like stone and crystal. Each has traits similar to the elements as well, Water Genasi can breathe beneath the waves, where Air Genasi can fly and cause gusts of wind.

Genasi originated when the Elemental Sibling deities gifted their followers with great powers. Most were humans or elves, but other types of Genasi do exist. It is possible for a powerful being with ties to the sibling deities to cause Genasi, if a Genie has a child with another species for example. Genasi are certainly a unique sight, but they are welcomed in most societies. Especially in Northern Tribes and the Hovels, where their gifts are seen as great boons.
