Dhampir

Dhampir often arise due to curses that create a relation between life and death in an individual. A Dhampir is most commonly caused by the Vampire Curse failing to take full effect, leaving the victim in a state of undeath, hungering for blood. However, Lycanthropy, Shadow Sorcery and many other curses can cause the appearance of a Dhampir.

Dhampir are often pale with red eyes, harboring dark powers and ultimately seeking one thing. To satiate their hunger. Typically this is for blood or flesh, but some Dhampir might hunger for feelings, or gold, or clothes. The curse manifests differently in many of them. Whilst Dhampir are often still very similar to how they were in life, the Starlock family will hunt and kill anybody confirmed to be Dhampir, to stop the curses potentially spreading.
