Chatterford

Population - 2,400 A town very close to the Eastern border of Gamall, it is usually used as a trade and supply stop for people entering or leaving the border. The main towns buildings are dark and brooding, usually made of grey and black stone. This gothic architecture and frequent rainfall make it quite a gloomy area. The centre of the town holds the Church of the Chattering Hand, an ancient group that houses many great artefacts and magic items for the Kingdom, where payment can grant you access to the collection.

The Church and the main town are surrounded by slums built by protestors of the Freeguild Contract, who live in great poverty. Crime is rampant in these outskirts, making it dangerous to travel through without military escorts. The military itself is very prominent between the slums and the main town, brutally holding back those trying to make their way in without contract.
