Aasimar

An Aasimar is someone who has lineage, blessings or relations to a celestial being in some way. These are typically angels. In the age of gods the deities would often pick mortal followers to help lead their armies and they would be gifted with angelic powers. Their blood carried on these gifts, which could potentially lie dormant in a bloodline for generations.

Aasimar look very similar to their usual race, but often have yellow tints to the eyes, paler complexions and a natural affinity for divine magic. Many also have halos, wings or golden markings which directly show their celestial heritage. Aasimar are seen as good omens, chosen by the divine to protect, even poorer families in the Kingdom that give birth to an Aasimar are often brought to higher standings in society.
