Held by Sir Indial Ubael

Trelid, the manor closest to Uldien on the Shebra road, has always been held directly by clan Ubael for reasons of security and to fill the granaries and larders of Caer Ubael and Uldien Abbey with its surplus. The office of bailiff has always been filled with a Ubael, most often with the heir apparent to learn the skills of stewardship and agriculture, before taking up the mantle of Baron.
The current bailiff Sir Indial Ubael, 43, is a cousin of Baron Karsin. He spends an inordinate amount of time trying to find out what happened to his uncle, Baron Konin, 11 years ago. The Baron was found dead one month after leaving Uldien one morning without explanation and with two companions armed for battle. Neither companion was ever seen again. Sir Indial thinks that Baron Karsin has not done enough to solve the mystery and bring his father's killers to justice and the two of them quarreled regularly over the matter.
After a particularly acerbic altercation last autumn, the Baron has forbidden Sir Indial to ever raise the issue again, on pain of losing his bailiff's office. Indial's wife Darsi Pulgarty, 40, normally a demure woman, went very hard on him, demanding that he consider the fate of his own family, and threating to take the three children and return to her former home of Galven manor in Bredan Hundred, unless he abandon his madcap search.
