Elmeze

Elmeze is a scenic manor with valuable old forests of oak, ash, elm, and birch in the lower vales. This has led to bad blood recently with the neighboring Laranian Abbey of Lethyl. Lord Firkin Dolastar's elder sister Brynna, 29, is Obasaran there and claims that their father donated a stretch of land filled with huge old oaks to the Abbey when she entered it 15 years ago. Lord Firkin denies this and has forbidden logging in the area. The Abbey's Serolan is fuming at this insolence and has threatened legal action and even excommunication, unless the lord gives in and acknowledges the church's rights.
