Airships

Airships are used to traverse between habitable islands and planets in Hanaq. Due to the universe's structure, air sailing is a major part of life. Smaller, older ships appear like traditional sailing vessels outfitted with thrusters, while newer models appear like floating battleships or zeppelins.

Propulsion Systems

For an airship to escape a planet's or island's local gravity, it needs a propulsion system. All flight near a planet or floating island will require a propulsion system, or else it will fall back to the nearest ground.   There are 2 ways to power an airship. Esper Fuel and a Mini-Core.

Esper Fuel

Esper Fuel is used to power older models of floating airships.

Esper Diesel - Lv 1

  • Common Alchemical Item
  • Price:1 sp
  • Bulk: 1
A ship that uses Esper Diesel uses (Ship Level)/2 Esper Fuel each day, rounded down. So a Level 4 Ship will use 2 Esper Fuel each day. A level 8 ship will use 4 Esper Fuel each day and so on.

Core Drive

The Core Drive was developed by The Coven. It allows a ship to fly freely without ever needing to use fuel. It is one of the few magical items that is legal for commoners to possess, though it is unlikely most can afford one.

Mini Core - Level 8 Magical Item

  • Common magical Item
