Port Hanshaw
Engineered on the Eastern side of an ocean, the small city of Port Hanshaw was rumoredly started as a home to vampires hiding from those who wished to destroy them. That after they were discovered they fled to the caves along the ocean which now are called the Crying caves.
This myth has led to many locals believing those caves and all the ancient stone ruins on the southern side of the city are cursed. In spite these rumors the city has a growing economy which is mainly supported by woodcrafting, farming, and trade. But their biggest strengths are intricate fletching techniques and farming. The ocean provides a bountiful harvest as well.
This city wasn't built by an ocean by accident, the wealth of the ocean has provided for the people during the hardest of winters. The crying caves and other caves along the ocean and under the city have provided it safety from foes in the past. The city lacks permanent walls and as it has grown out past the ones that were just built a few years ago.
The port itself looks delightful. The buildings are a mix of ash wood rooftops, yew wood walls, shingled rooftops, chiseled stone walls, blackwood rooftops, redwood walls and has a pleasing atmosphere.
The main attractions include: the watermill, which was built 359 years ago and designed supposedly vampires, the temple, which was built 26 years ago and designed by humans, the Graveyard, which was built 132 years ago and designed by Halfings, the bard school, which was built 65 years ago and designed by high elves.
