Haldren

The blight of the world began at the ending of the Fifth Age, after the rediscovery of the Sword of Destiny, and the emergence of the dark forces sealed by it that threaten the balance of Haldren itself. Now, those forces have grown and begun to seep into the earth itself, corrupting and disrupting all life and harmony wherever it touches. This is known as the "Corruption", and spawns from the Realm of Darkness, Teniberus.   From the Northern Peaks of Alperike, where Kings old and new go to receive their Blessing, to the marshes of Minatocho, where the Great Ancestral Tree of Elvenkind resides, the World of Haldren is christened with deserts and marshes, tundras and forests, caves and cities. But, it may not remain as beautiful as it once was, for every new day brings the realm ever closer to the brink of oblivion. Soon, Haldren's borders will be corrupted by Teniberus, and all shall succumb to the powers of the Nightmare Emperor himself.
