Aspathines was a Nobleman of Arsalan and one 2 personal companions of Darius the Red. He was a powerful Jaguar man who handled a mystic bow with ease. He also bore Darius' mystic axe when they would travel together. When Darius became emperor, Aspathines offered his daughter Phratagune to him.

During the insurrection, many Alexandrian troops were found full of mystic arrows and near them, the body of a Jaguar man.
