Malar, The Hunter

The Hunter

A lesser deity, aspect and servant to Melora, The Wildmother, Malar is called upon by his worshippers to aid them on their hunt. While the Wildmother is thanked for the trail, the wilderness, and the beast that is the prey, it is Malar who steadies the hunters' hand, and causes the arrows and spears to strike true.

Loyalty to Nature

While shrines and even the occasional temple to Malar are common enough, especially in more rural places where hunting is a large part of people's day to day lives, there are no tenets or dogma that worshippers of the god of the hunt are expected to keep to. Instead, his favor is gained by living up to those set by The Wildmother, and following her teachings.
