The pain of the unraveling and the dragon hunts are still fresh in the minds of the long lived races, and they try to shepherd the new generations into an era of prosperity. The current age is one of rebuilding and rediscovery. The world and Haelmark is reclaiming what is has lost. The people are determined to create new things and will react violently towards those that would take anything from them.

History

Funded by Divanth the first champion of Haedus after the last primal dragon of the region was slayed, Haelmark has since claimed land in the south west of Asteruul. Over the 90 years since the funding Haelmark has grown steadily both in size and population and is currently one of the larger nations of Asteruul, even if not all of it borders border to other nations, thus allowing further expansion if the land can be procured safely.
