Gnome

Gnomes hail from the central forests of Asteruul where they created their own small nation, that eventually crumbled and a large city was lost into the dark of the underground. Being a crafty people the Gnomes quickly adapted to their new situation and assimilated themselves into smaller settlements of other nations. They lived a life of relative unknown keeping to themselves and not involving themselves with the happenings of the wider world, instead focusing on their tinkering and other handiwork. As a people Gnomes love to devote themselves to their work and have an almost religious sense of awe towards the task at hand. Currently a large group of Gnomes have migrated to Haelmark where they have set up shop and are taking a more active role in the shaping of their new homeland. They have formed a number of workman guilds that try to represent their will as a people in the nation. They allow other races to join their guilds but most of them are still gnome run, and some have an elitist view, considering the other races less important in a professional sense. Hailing from the forests of central Asteruul the gnomes are a crafty people that are curious of the world around them and prone to act first and think later if it might give them more insight on the things that interests them. Gnomes have a relatively large pointed face with pointed ears. They have sharp piercing eyes with bright colors.

Naming Traditions

Gnomer ges tre kortare namn vid födseln, vilka kombineras till ett långt. Det är dock vanligt att folk använder ett av dem som ett smeknamn mellan vänner, där det första används av vänner, det andra av släkt och det tredje av romantiska partners. Utöver förnamn kallas Gnomer efter deras yrken, vilket ofta misstas för ett efternamn hos andra raser. Ex. BellMaraRin Fiskare, GorKollFen Sheriff.

Gnomer är nyfikna och energiska med generell dålig impulskontroll vilket, trots deras höga intellekt, fått dem att framstå som barnsliga i andra rasers ögon och de har ibland svårt att ta dem seriöst.
