Forged

Explorers of civilazations past recently uncovered a hidden storeroom in one of the ruins found in Haelmark. When the doors where breached, something awoke the collection of automatons stored inside. The first reaction of the explorers where alarm, followed by curiosity upon realization that they appeared sentient. Following the awakening the relations between Forged where strenuous, since many refused to believe them to be truly sentient, rather then mere automatic constructs. This changed when "The will to struggle through the darkness towards the light" became a chosen champion of Haedus, championing the Forged cause and spoke on their behalf, convincing many skeptics of their worth. Forged currently have no uniformed goal for their future, some are trying to create more of their kind, but the prospect seams bleak since no one knows what it is that makes Forged more sentient then other constructs. Others try to explore more Asteruulian ruins in order to find more Forged stored away in the same manner as they themselves where, so far three additional groupings have been found. A third part try to live their lives as unnoticed as possible, since the fear of abduction for illegal experiments and slavery to eccentric collectors is very much a real one. Forged are a gentle people, despite their rough appearance. they are fascinated by the world around them and seek to understand their place in it, since they don't remember anything of their creators or for what purpose. Some have taken to speculating about their past, while others are trying to find their place using a more hands on approach. The forged don't have genders and have taken names for themselves, ranging from more mundane ones used by other races, to whole sentences describing specific feelings or phenomenons.

Naming Traditions

Smidda föds inte, utan vaknar upp fullt medvetna om sin omgivning och kapabla att interagera med och lära sig om den. Smidda har tagit egna namn, vilka ofta är kombinationer av ord som direkt beskriver känslor eller situationer. Nära vänner av andra raser använder ofta delar av Smiddas namn som smeknamn, vilket Smidda inte riktigt förstår men tenderar att tolerera, även om de ofta uppmanar folk att kolla dem för deras korrekta namn. Ex. Viljan att sträva genom mörker mot ljus, Molnen skingras dagen gryr.

Common Customs, Traditions and Rituals

Smidda har svårt att förstå ironi och folk tar deras brist på visuella reaktioner som ett tecken på att de är seriösa och ansvarstagande, vilket inte alltid är sant då dessa reaktioner kan bero på bristande erfarenhet eller tankspriddhet då Smidda ofta noga bearbetar ny information.
