Matuqai Ngaye is crowned Empress of the Aelgari Empire.

She claims the crown at the age of 18, since her father, the previous Emperor has been sickly and frail for a year or so. The Council was vying for her position, hoping to place one of their own as a temporary leader, but Loan Diaval thwarts their plans, since she is of age and can claim the throne for herself. She knows not to trust their political machinations, having been trained in politics and warfare since a young age.
