Plague Doctors of Gunarama

The Plague Doctors of Gunaram, usually just called the Plague Doctors, are a group of well-trained and well-educated mages and physicians who partake in various jobs involving any illnesses that sweep through a town, city, or country. Many Plague Doctors are taken in as orphans with no place to go. Others are born into the profession.
There are different kinds of Plague Doctors who specialize in different types of illnesses; Owl, Crow, Eagle, Kite, and Falcon.

The Plague Doctor Headquarters is located in a rather secluded part stretching from Duland into Traith. Although not revealed to the public for their safety, they are located in the mountain ranges near Kinhill in Duland and Yinas in Traith.

From lowest to highest:

• Volunteers (If joining upon one's choosing)

• Fellows
• Nurses
• Doctors

While all Plague Doctors share the same ranking system, the groups within the guild have different jobs.

Groups

• Owls - often deal with magical illnesses and diseases. They are better with healing magic and 
• Crows - deal with non-magical illnesses and diseases. They are often better at apothecary.
• Eagles - deal with mass-curse control. They are often called when a village, town, or city has been put under a curse and they are better with runes and rituals.
• Kites - help with containing illnesses and diseases, magical or not. They are often seen with Owls and Crows.
• Falcons - help control wide spread epidemics and pandemics. Rarely seen, but during an epidemic or pandemic, they are seen with Owls and Crows, often replacing Kites if they can't contain the disease.

Culture

The Plague Doctor culture is often depicted as clean and orderly. They keep themselves, their home, and everything else they come across clean. Germs and bacteria are their worst enemy, as they devote their lives to rid of illness and disease.
Plague Doctors are some of the most educated people in the world, often using their vast knowledge to do their job in containing and ridding of illness, disease, and curses. They want what is best for the world, often coming up with many potions, creams, and medicines to help them.
As part of their way of life, they don't take off their masks or suits unless taking a shower or cleaning the suits. This is mostly due to the fact they like to stay clean and not to catch any of the illnesses and diseases they work with.
