Cult of Xisha

Xisha was once a goddess praised and feared by all. She loved her children, but if they crossed her, she'd make sure they were "disposed of."   As her name was spoken less and less and the Mother was all that people would praise, she was forgotten about by many. This cult had formed and its first task was to get rid of Tysen, the spiritual husband of the Mother.   Many people have not heard of this cult, but very few have whispered the name.

Worship

In honor of the great Xisha, prayer and sacrifice are the popular forms of worship. Smaller, much less intense forms of worship include food and jewel offerings.

Priesthood

The cult's hierarchy is an odd one;    At the top, the leader of the cult is the Overseer. They interpret the will of the hand of Xisha. As the name implies, they oversee everything and give orders to those of lower ranks. They also take care of any business involving Xisha, which would include leading group prayer, offering sacrifices, etc.   Below the Overseer are the Specialists. Specialists make tools that help plans come to fruition. They do what is told of them to spread Xisha's Will and help the Overseer with personal tasks. Essentially, they are the Overseer's right and left hands.   Below Specialists are the Magisters. They conduct rituals in Xisha's name and help with sacrifices. Magisters, Warchiefs, and Underlings are usually the ones seen doing these rituals. Magisters also deal with any magic issues that may help or hinder the cult's cause.   Warchiefs are under Magisters. They are the cult's main source of muscle. Warchiefs deal with any physical threats that will hurt the cult and order Underlings around when something needs to be done.   Underlings make up a large portion of the cult's defenses and workers. They do many things depending on what they were recruited for. Their jobs include scribe, alchemist, shaman, battlemage, falconer, furriers, cook, physician, archers, hunters, smiths, etc. Basically, they do whatever they can and offer their services to serve Xisha and her will.
