Sheol's Cove

A bay of dust and flame swarming with demons and devils. They protect the Gates of Rhopadope Mountains.

History

During the Mortal Wars, the armies of the lesser cities were slight, yet powerful. A prick in Udomorn's side. In response, he sent the totality of his legions to eradicate them. When his immense throng appeared, every man and woman there stood in front, the edges of the city behind them, willing to resist. They had dispatched messages to neighboring villages they had protected in days gone by, imploring them to help their saviors in a time of great peril. But no responses came for days as they held back against the tremendous hoards. People's graves littered the lands, but as long as there wasn't pace of soil left untouched of Demon blood, it didn't matter.
The Arcane Wizards, meanwhile, gathered the children and ordered regiments to find haven in the mountains to the West. They were ordered to train them in the ways of the once great Authinein Empire, so that they could keep the spirit of their world intact; so they would grow to become Commanders of regiments of their own so they may retake this world. For they knew it was only a matter of days before they were completely wiped out.
Ridden with sorrow and pain, they huddled the last of the power they held onto from the Gods, and unleashed a blast of radiance at the Hellish siege, and a firestorm brushed across the plains. They had taken the most power than any Mortal of Magic Wielding dreamt to hold, and radiated right through them. Though the children and their sentinels survived, hidden amongst the peaks, there was nothing left of their communities, their friends, their families.
