Sägen

Sägen is the home of many magical lands.

Geography

There are many lands of Sägen, most famous being Neverland, Wonderland, Camelot, and the Land of Oz.   The sun in Sägen rises in the west and sets in the east. Except in Wonderland always the oddball of Sägen, the sun rises in the north and sets in the south.

Fauna & Flora

Fairies exist through out Sägen. Many other magical creatures from stories also exist through out the magical realm such as unicorns, giants, and mermaids.   Some very strange creatures can even exist. Such as the Cheshire cat and winged monkeys.

History

Sägen is a world where many fables of Earthen originate. It is a world of magic and can be extremely hostile towards human visitors.   The most famous stories are Alice in Wonderland, Little Red Riding Hood, and the Arthurian legends.

Tourism

Tourism isn't something that is usually done willingly. Many visitors of this realm tend to wind up here accidentally.

Traveling

There are many ways to travel to & from Sägen, as well as various methods to travel around Sägen.

The Veil of the Fairies

The Veil of Fairies is one of the most untrustworthy methods of traveling between worlds, as their locations are never in one place for too long and go to random places. Walking through the Veil of Fairies could lead you from England to Camelot, or even from America to Japan. Some can even find themselves in a constant loop, always leading back where they started.

Will-o-Wisps

These are magical ghostly creatures that resemble a blinding light, or a flame. They have many names such as the jack-o'-lantern, friar's lantern, hinkypunk, and hobby lantern. They appear to lost travelers and lead them in to Sägen. They have various recorded sightings in places such as Ireland, Scotland, England, Wales, Appalachia, and Newfoundland but have also been known to appear in the Americas.

A Fairy Companion

Faith, trust, and pixie dust. Peter Pan was a young boy who ran away with a fairy at a very young age. This boy never wanted to grow up, and to humans Sägen was the perfect place for that. Although at that time, the boy had no real ideas about it. Peter Pan and his fairy companion would often travel between the realms together, and occasionally they would take a new companion in to Sägen with them. The most famous is Wendy Darling.

Through The Skies

Though one could take a fairy guide to bring them from the Earth realm to Sägen, one could simply just simply fly there on their own if they knew how. Most cases of one flying in to Sägen is through accidental means. Such as Dorothy from Kansas who flew into Oz via a tornado. Similarly, the Wizard of Oz found himself flying in to Oz via his hot air balloon.

Portholes

There are several portholes located through out the world. The most notable one is the one that carried Alice to Wonderland. They are more reliable than the Veil of Fairies, more static in location but only work sometimes and a lot of the time, only work one way.

A Magical Beast

A magical beast from Sägen can carry a passenger in to Sägen. The most notable one is a horse owned by a queen called Niamh of Tír na nÓg.
