Welcome's Day
Welcome's Day, a day of thanks and joyous festivity. A Morgenstern tradition that spread to the rest of the world as travel became easier and easier, it is a day meant to say thanks for what people hold dear, be it family, their work, or a simple item.
The day is celebrated with three main activities; a performance where the community comes together to bond, a feast held either in a small group and children offer hand-picked gifts such as cards or toys to adults they want to thank.
History
Starting as a Morgstern holiday meant to give thanks for inspiring strength and growth and welcoming independence. It has since spread around the world over the years as the world became more and more connected.
Execution
The first activity in the day is a performance either held by a member of the community or a hired bard. They play a song titled Thank You We Will Try. After the performance, smaller groups break off for a feast with food the changes from country to country. The gifts are given at the end of the day are often hand made or found and handed to their choice of adult personly.
