Metamagic Rod

Casting through these items causes the wilder to use the abilities of MetaMagic. These spell casting focuses can be used by any arcane caster such as Wizards, Bards, Scoressers, and Warlocks. Each rod can hold a max of 4 charges with it regaining 1d4 charges each sunrise.  These sturdy items have AC 9, 10 hit points, hardness 10, and a break DC of 27.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

Passing magic through the rod into a magic crystal imbued with MetaMagic changes the properties of the spell.
