Greyhawk Revisited

Created by

A rework of the classic Greyhawk Wars campaign, set in the Sheldomar Valley kingdoms of the Western Flanaess.   Grounded in the classic World of Greyhawk Setting, Tales of Spirewall is a re-telling of the events occuring in the Sheldomar valley during the Greyhawk Wars. The campaign begins shortly before the beginning of the War and draws much of its inspiration from the From the Ashes campaign box set. The campaign also includes several classic non-Greyhawk adventures such as "The Sunless Citadel", "Forge of Fury", "Night Below", "The Speaker in Dreams" and, most notably, "Red Hand of Doom" which is worked directly into the Greyhawk War storyline alongside the classic "Steading of the Giants" series that led to "The Demonweb Pits" finale. All of this material is heavily reworked (more so as the campaign develops) to form a unique and distinctive re-imagining of the events of the War as seen by the inhabitants of the town of Spirewall (once called Hochoh) in the Grand Duchy of Geoff, with the players oft returning there or using the town as a base from which to pursue their adventures.   The campaign is written with D&D 3.5e ruleset in mind, but homebrew elements have been taken from both 4th and 5th edition rules as well.
