Mikhail

Mikhail is a minor character in ASCOMYCOTA. He is a Vampire taxi driver who has a small history with Avan, Beth, and Leon. Mikhail is a generally chill guy who uses his immortality to read, take weird jobs, and help other Undead people.

When Mikhail first became a Vampire, Leon helped him adjust to his new needs and get a stable place to live. Mikhail and Beth briefly collided when Mikhail was trying to get a job and home of his own. He hopes she relaxes a bit, and she did for some time. However, Beth reverts to her former stressed self when her life falls out of control. Mikhail brought Avan to Mildew Manor after they and Machiavelli were discovered to be Zombies. Mikhail helped teach Avan some social skills, talked with them about their new afterlife, and hung out with them and Beth for a bit.

Family Ties

Mikhail is Rune's older brother. He doesn't know she's the God of Death, but he knows she's at least an unsettled ghost. The two don't talk very often, but Mikhail helps her when he can. Part of his motivation towards helping the Undead adjust to their afterlives is because he cares about Rune and people like her, who are confused and disturbed by their deaths and revivals.

Social Aptitude

Mikhail doesn't do well socially but tries his best. As the story progresses, it's clear that Avan takes after some of his mannerisms such as emphasizing his voice with his hands, scratching the back of his head or neck, and rubbing his face when he's tired.
