Frilled Squirrel

The Frilled Squirrel is a creature resembling a large squirrel. The only major differences are the split tails and the spiked frill. The animal lives in trees and often tunnels into them to make a home. The frill is used as a method of self defence, when it is opened the spines are able to shoot out to harm attackers. The spines are filled with a paralytic venom that works rapidly causing complete paralysis in thirty seconds. The effects of the venom wear off in one to two hours.
