Worncliff

The fortress city ruled by the Pe’Teb family. The landscape around it is scrubland. This is where the Helmund nation dumps its trash: convicts, political prisoners, and dishonored. The Pe’Teb family was one bloodline at first, but now they are joined with other bloodlines made up of various ‘model’ citizens from the ranks of those descendant of the prisoners. These free citizens are very aware of where they come from, but are allowed to leave the city when they reach adulthood. Pe’Teb Clef is the current ruler of Worncliff. Clef is known as the Grand Warden. The city is run by the council of wardens, but they are like other aristocracies. The council runs off survival of the fittest terms, and all of the wardens are dangerous individuals. Who and how many are the magistrate-wardens?

Government

Worncliff is presided over by a council of eleven, ten Wardens and headed by a Grand Warden. Each Warden is assigned to a district that is numbered and named. The names of the district add to the Warden's title and the number refers to their rank on the council. The Grand Warden is also titled the Warden of the Palace, and belongs to the Pe'Teb family.
