The Festival of Carnage

In the previous age, the gods were fresh and new. They reveled and raged with and against each other.   One particular deity, the Hooved One, was bored with running back and forth across the land as none of the others couldn't keep up. The One Who Flew, Kha, told the Hooved One to try flying, but the Hooved One didn't have wings. Thyx Fah, the Clever Hunter, sprung down from a tree and suggested the Hooved one try chasing Kha, but the Hooved One didn't have the patience nor the ambition. Pyit, the Scavenger, popped out of the ground and recommended he try digging down, but the Hooved One didn't have claws to break the earth. However, the Hooved one realized he had powerful legs that could smash a kick up the dirt. With a cry, the Hooved One thanked his friends. He jumped and bucked, stormed and raged with pleasure and fury, stomping the flat ground into pitted massive peaks. He ran up the mountains and chased Kha through the sky as Kha spun and circled. Thyx Fah growled with glee and skittered after Pyit, who yelped and spewed dirt behind them. Together they rose such a noise that all the others joined in.   The Demons, a wicked sect of the gods that had a predilection towards decadence, rose from a drunken slumber at the horrid noise from above. These were those that lived beneath the land in great caverns that they had made into grand halls. The Demons screamed and yelled at sound, but it didn't diminish. Some of them rushed to wake Ulti, but Ulti wasn't pleased about this and crushed them into a gelatinous puddle, becoming Gumysm the One Who is Viscous. Ulti realized the noise from above wouldn't let them sleep again, and grabbed their hammer. Ulti lead their siblings to the surface as chunks of rock tumbled down around them. They burst forth from their, now crumbled, cavern.   This is the Festival of Carnage, during which Ulti, the demon-font, fought the Hooved one. The Hooved One dove and dodged in pure joy. All the while Ulti's hammer smashed the new peaks flat again but still raised like a table. Upon this steppe, the deities fought and feasted. All their bodily humors ran and washed the steppe of rubble. The flesh and carcasses of these ancient beings lay strewn about the Green Sea, and their blood pooled in the lowlands and made the trees grow.   The Hooved One lay dying and from his form sprung all those that run on the ground, birthed from his pores including Beliash, the first Eilak. Ulti stood triumphant, chest heaving and mouth frothing. Ulti crawled back under ground, hammer blocking the hole, leaving Phas, the Reliant Hunter, and a smear of Gumysm that beaded and scattered. This is where Ulti died from exhaustion. Ulti's slowly decaying form let out gas and liquid, a bubbling mess, from where all devils are born out of hatred, ill-will, and ferocity.   The steppe fell silent as the survivors retreated to tend their wounds. In this silence mortals began to emerge.

Summary

This is the myth that speaks of the creation of the Green Sea. The creation of the world itself is a much different myth that varies more depending on the culture. This myth also assumes you understand that the deities were divided in what translates to tribes. The Hooved One has no deified children, but the deities that care for his children are his siblings, the myth once again assumes you know this as do the myths that deal with his siblings. This event also marked the end of The Deific Era, or the era of the gods.

Variations & Mutation

Ulti is of neuter gender, this is clearly stated in the original text by context, however they are rarely portrayed as a woman and the Devils were born from her excrement and menses. This variation is exceedly rare and thought to be the dalliance of some old perverted monk.
