Personal history

Pumpkin was born on a large farm near the southern swamplands of Saffruff. As she was born the 12 Black Stars of legend aligned perfectly, and chose Pumpkin to be a messager of their chaotic will. Unbeknownst to those around her, the Black Stars had made the newborn child into a legendarily powerful witch. Pumpkins father, Abraham Crowley, gave her the middle name Moira after her mother who died during childbirth. She was seemingly innocent at first, but soon blossomed into a sinister evil. Pumpkin developed a taste for rotting meat, and found great comedic pleasure in the suffering of others. She was only kept at bay by her father and his slave farmhand Biff, who encouraged her to behave like a normal girl. At age 5, Pumpkin’s power flourished and could no longer be contained. Neighboring farmlands withered and died, and their livestock violently committed suicide. This contrasted Abraham’s farm which prospered and grew unnaturally. The community of Saffruff decided to destroy the witch and free themselves from the horrors of her power. They arrived at night with torches to burn down the entire Abraham estate, with the occupants still inside. Abraham entrusted his most loyal farmhand Biff to escape with Pumpkin and protect her for the rest of his days. Meanwhile, Abraham himself stayed behind with the rest of his servants and died a gruesome death at the hands of his neighbors. Pumpkin now roams the Great Continent with her “uncle” Biff, naturally drawn to chaos and danger. She is child like but deceptively cruel and sadistic, her dark powers still not yet at their full potential. At only 12 years old, she is one of the most dangerous mages in the realm
