The continent of Graestorm is said to be eternally shrouded in war. Ancient families dating back millennia vie for power over the lands coveted resources, tearing the land asunder. No town or city remains in the hands of one family for long, as the mercenaries and standing armies show little loyalty to their benefactor, defecting to the highest bidder at the drop of a coin. Whilst the families bicker and fight, the people grow tired of living in constant fear, and a man by the name 'Red Emperor' has risen to the west, determined to bring peace to the land under an iron fist.
