Gorgotha

This world was created for the TaleFoundry's Worldbuilding competition. Gorgotha is a large-ish city, located in a country heavily influenced by religion. The period is about the brink of the modern age, with new theories and technologies popping up in a blink of an eye, with the religious authorities trying to cling to every little morsel of power they have left. I chose the world's name to be the city's name because everything else is irrelevant. Any other information will be disclosed in the prompts.
