UUNNUK JAKLYJY

UUNNUK JAKLYJY (historic city) is an ancient city, no one knows its original name as it was burned down during the later part of the brutal war. but it was refounded by the ANUK JAKLYJY king kukjik because of its incredibly defensible position. Then it was used as a lunching off point to clame some of the arid lands south of the lush tri city area. UUNNUK JAKLYJY was built in a massive and very deep canyon with a flowing river in it. UUNNUK JAKLYJY has one notable building called jal jayjy (big castle) its a massive fortress of stone, five stories one reinforced gate.

History

UUNNUK JAKLYJY has a very interesting history. During the brutal war gorakin forces planed to use the city as a lunching of point, to eventually take ANUK JAKLYJY striking a heavy blow against the kley. When the gorakin burnt UUNNUK JAKLYJY to the ground they had to seige jal jayjy for six months before its supplies ran out and they took the castle. This was the reason the treaty was signed the kley couldn't lose ANUK JAKLYJY as that would mean an end to the war. So the fall of UUNNUK JAKLYJY caused the end of the great war. In the middle of UUNNUK JAKLYJY there is now a memorial to the many people who died in the last true battle of the great war, who if the lived only a few more days would have seen peace.

Architecture

the architecture of UUNNUK JAKLYJY is very interesting because of its location. The city is arrayed in a semicircle round the side of the canyon and jal jayjy is built into the side of the canyon acting as the centre of the semicircle. The buildings in UUNNUK JAKLYJY are set very close together and all of them are made of stone.

Climate

UUNNUK JAKLYJY is in a very hot place, not like the tropical delta area, its mostly arid. yet it is the most liveable place between the tri city area and the jalkuc desert.
