Nyota's attitude was apparent from the first interaction with Orvin. Nyota has a tendency to insult those he deem below, and tends to be dismissive of people around him.

Orvin makes a stop at an ArcaniCo stall, and finds out he has an in with the company by a man named Nyota, who can speak more about ArcaniCo wanting to gain access to the Magaambya.

When Orvin enters ArcaniCo to apply to join, he is met by Nyota. Nyota began the process of interviewing Orvin, despite his apprehension at first. He sees what Orvin has to offer in skill, and sees a cantrip being casted. He notices Orvin uses a different sounding vowel in the vocal component, which he makes mention it can be copyrighted to ArcaniCo. He sees that as potential skills they can use, and recommends Orvin to the hiring process. Asanda then joins and takes the resume from Orvin.
