Now, she teaches with the same dramatic passion that fueled her performances. Despite her fame, she's strangely grounded and unpretentious, carrying a deep dislike of liars, fakers, and phonies."

Description

Appearance

Elegant, boisterous, ethereal—Lesedi is many things and bombastically more. Wreathed in a subtle aura of smoky mist that accentuates her pale, pearlescent skin, Lesedi's voice is warm, rich, and naturally resonant, able to project with startling volume normally reserved for brass instruments and ceremonial gongs. Her clothes are equally dramatic, midnight-black ensembles adorned with silver and obsidian trinkets—gifts, kept from her many loyal fans. An animate pink feather boa named Amani floats along her back, aiding her not unlike a serpent or a third arm.

Lesedi wears a single emerald-green ring on her left hand—its clashing color signifies her as a member of the Emerald Boughs. Her mask is wrought in the image of a large-eyed loris.

Personality

Lesedi's personality can be described as boisterous, a flair for dramatics, and to some, somewhat off-putting and brash. By those who know who her, however, this is by choice. Lesedi is known to be a prodigy for the Magaambya, and so uses tactics to know whether a new initiate is up for the tasks to join her. She tests others by acting mean, to then see if people stand up to bullies.

Background

Lesedi is a well known opera singer who performed at Bloodcove. She joined Magaambya as a prodigy, and even skipped ranks to become a Lore-speaker for the academy.

Teacher Lesedi was introduced to the party at the Powderpile. She was quick to make an impression to many, as she would quickly dismiss each person one by one, until Eshe made a comment about the animated pink boa that Lesedi had, who the party learns is named Amani. Eshe identifies that Lesedi is a fletchling, which hail from the land of shadows. Orvin recognizes the name, and recalls she's an opera singer from Bloodcove. He immediately retracts his interest to this person.

Orvin expressed how unsure he is of Lesedi as a teacher. Ignaci explains that Lesedi is purposefully off-putting. She likes to bully, and the reason why is because it's a test to see who stands up to her. She then takes those people under her wing.
