Rehana "Canary" Finch

Rehana was a smart and charming kid but didn't want to let her family down so she worked in the mines as a young adult just like her parents before her and her grandparents before that. Unlike her predecessors she was relatively weak so she made due with good vision and a small frame to squeeze into the areas others couldn't. She would hum songs to herself as way to take her mind off of the cramped spaces and the others knew that as long as she was humming they were safe from whatever was in the next chamber. They took to calling her Canary. Once the mining operation graduated to explosives she was responsible for placing them so she convinced the foreman to allow her to observe the creation of the bombs so that she could understand how to handle them safely. It wasn't long until all of the willing senior miners had had an accident preparing the explosives that she was left in charge.   She eventually got roped into a few small heists by some coworkers and realized there were WAY easier and safer ways to make money so she stole the last score from the crew and took off to start a new life. After bouncing around a bit using the money she stole she started experimenting with alchemical formulas. In addition to the bombs she already knew how to create she learned how to make an elixir that healed, at least she though it healed until she realized that it just masked the ailment. Soon "Finch & Son's Medicinal Miracles" was born and she started peddling her wares as a cover while traveling town to town looking for easy marks to steal from. Eventually she worked out the actual formula for healing and added that to her services when she felt it was deserved.   I think Brain and I are going to tie in together. Brian will be the "& Son's" as a half-orc. I will help him acquire the books he wants while he is unknowingly the lookout for my thievery. In return he protects me and my business while giving it an air of legitimacy.
