Sorcerer

Spellcasters born with their innate abilities.

Career

Qualifications

A Sorcerer doesn't become qualified to become a Sorcerer. It's quite literally something people are born with, as their magic comes from the fact that one of their past relatives had relations with either dragons, gods, Storm Elementals, the Shadowfell, giants, or they were exposed to high amounts of wild magic, making them an anomaly in the Weave.

Career Progression

Sorcery doesn't progress into anything particular. Most Sorcerers become teachers for other Sorcerers, to help hone their abilities.

Payment & Reimbursement

Sorcerers act similarly to Wizards, in that they typically become odd job takers. They are usually paid 1-15 gold per job.

Other Benefits

Sorcerers are seen similarly to wizards.

Perception

Purpose

Sorcerers do not specifically have a purpose in Society, as becoming a Sorcerer isn't something people can decide to become. However, they usually stay with the job that their parents were apart of, and would use their magic to make their lives easier, though many become adventurers, seeing this as a sign.

Social Status

Sorcerers aren't as well treated by people as Wizards are, due to the Jealousy they gain from not being lucky enough to easily gain magic.

Demographics

Most Sorcerers are Humans, Dragonborn (Mostly Dragon), Half-Elves (Mostly Wild), Kobolds (Mostly Dragon), Goliaths (Mostly Giant), Genasi (Mostly Storm), and Aasimar (Mostly Celestial).

Operations

Tools

Sorcerers require a spellcasting foci or a component pouch.

Workplace

Sorcerers don't usually have specific workplaces.

Provided Services

SOrcerers provide a similar service as wizards, meaning their magic is used for tasks that can easily be done with the help of magic.

Dangers & Hazards

Sorcerers have the same Hazards as the wizards, and also has the threat of having people seeking their innate powers to try to find a way to become sorcerers themselves. Dragon Sorcerers are also sought by Dragons themselves, to use them as slaves usually.
