Government
The Port is run by a Tortle Elder Druid named Tchuchu, who runs the Port similarly to a Democracy, where everyone determines the laws based on votes.
Defences
Utilizes Sylvan magic, Apidite and Tortle guards, and 5 Poui Treants (Immune to Fire). They also utilize Giant Turtles as a form of mount.
Industry & Trade
Tortles do not normally use conventional forms of currency, basing their market off of Trade. The only exception is the War Tortle, which always accepts any form of currency. The Steel Beer only accepts copper, silver, and Gold, however.
Infrastructure
The Port has Watermills, sewers, Shipyards, and dirt roads.
Assets
Most simple weapons, Tridents, Shields, Shell jewelry. A tavern called "The War Turtle," where the mead has cleaned ocean water in it, is found near the entrance of the Shipyard. The Inn called "The Moonlight Butterfly," where most captains sleep, known for its glass roof.
Guilds and Factions
A Guild made up entirely of Apidites, called "The Apidite Guild," Was made so that The Apidites would be able to have some say in how Port Laurn is run. It is currently being run by Ilerush, a Diplomat Apidite who mostly echos what Krishadra says.
History
Port Laurn was originally a small Tribe of Tortles in 423wr, being the first Tortle Tribe on Garathar. It became a Port town in 1194wr, with the decision to become a port town in 901wr.
The Port town came into disarray when the Calamity event took place. The population fled the town to hide in the Hives of the Apidites, as Slaad began appearing and attacking people. The Slaad would suddenly disappear in 2100wr, and people would return to and rebuild Port Laurn, as the Apidites did not want these people.
Tourism
Most tourists come to Port Laurn for a relaxation site. The area around Port Laurn is incredibly safe, so most tourists go fishing on the beaches.
Architecture
Pourt Laurn takes small amounts of its architecture from Drandar, but is mostly made up of housing similar to the Tudor style, but only one floor and usually without roofs. The exceptions include the Taverns and the Moonlight Butterfly, which all have a roof, the Inn and about 10 different houses, which has a second floor, and the Town hall, which has 3 floors, and a roof.
Geography
The Port is surrounded by Jungle Trees, and a few Poui Trees. There is the ocean near the port, close enough for ships to come in.
