Paladin
Holy Warriors of the gods.
Career
Qualifications
To be a Paladin, you must first be a warrior, like a fighter. However, instead of honing your skill with your weapon, you have to join a Paladin Oath. Either they will seek you out, or you seek them out. No matter how you join, you will begin training in that profession, using worship of a god to give you similar powers to a Cleric, although weaker, focusing more on their combat prowess.
Oathbreakers are Paladins who had broken one of their Oaths. The Qualifications to become an Oathbreaker is to be apart of an Oath in the first place, and then break their Oath.
Career Progression
Paladins can increase in rank in their Oath, with the Highest possible Rank being something called the "Oath Caller," which are what protect their Oath, and also run said Oath.
Payment & Reimbursement
Paladins are given a free house and free food by their Oath, so they can live easily and focus on training, rather than worrying about their lives.
Other Benefits
Upon Death, Paladins become Solars and Planetars, or Pit fiends and Bone Devils. They are also seen as almost superheroes by other folk.
