God Engine

In an alternate take on WWII nuclear energy and the machines of war awakens the ancient horrors of the Lovecraft canon. The Nazi's take control of most of the Eastern Hemisphere and form a proto-European Union of human nations and alien entities. A new kind of war leads to a new kind of weapon, an arms race begins to perfect a line of nuclear powered mecha known as God Engines. The Xenophobic US and Japan are driven into international exile after using nuclear weapons against a strange race of creatures who have a seat in the EU. The stories take place in the isolated US as it attempts to survive an apocalypse of ghouls, ghosts, and cosmic horrors brought on by the Trinity Test which has made most of the country uninhabitable.
