  More than thirty years have gone by. The world had almost forgotten about the Anomaly that sat in the Delaware River, across from Philadelphia PA… when it expands in a silent explosion that reverberates around the globe.  

Everything, and nothing, changed.

  This is the story of Jake Wiley. 5 years after the Baby Bang, the changes are still rocking society. The first mass casualty and civic catastrophe that can be traced to A-Noms leads to the destruction of a sizable chunk of Los Angeles real estate.   The response from the incoming LAPD and the Federal Government is decisive: The Special Tactical Anomalous Response Bureau is formed. An entity outside LAPD Metro Division, STAR specializes in interdiction with anomalous (A-Nom) threats.  

And the tip of the spear is Gilgamesh Squad.

  Named after the Sumerian God-King, who was two-thirds god, and one third man, Gilgamesh consists of a 5 to 8 member police-combat squad, heavily armed and armored, with bleeding edge tech and weaponry resources. They incorporate A-Nom agents and technology to make sure STAR can go toe-to-toe with even the most powerful A-Nom threats   They are the tactical response arm of the STAR Bureau.
