An ancient world dominated by new and recent cultures, a plane of existence riddled with hypocrisy and little understanding. The people are numerous and diverse, yet all too similar in ideology and philosophy. Advancement and discovery have been outcast for centuries and are coming back in droves, though not for the better. Those with access to new technology and advanced medicine are starting to siege and lay waste to the lesser peoples with little regard for any life. Those with strong faiths believe that the abominations of complex machinery will be rightly punished by the ancient civilizations and sorcerers, while those who think for themselves believe they are both heretics, and that they are all doomed.
