The Staff of Jadwiga (Jyahd-vee-gah)

The Witch Jadwiga - who later would be part of Ziele Jadwiga Hyun Ae Kumiega-Park's name - created the Staff on the occasion of the birth of the King's twins, Bellaslava and Liliana. The intention was the Staff was that it would help a ruler clear their mind, prevent brain-hacking and hypnotism, act as a sort of psychic GPS, and promote general prosperity in the lands. Bella used it to help with her battle plans, which was pretty much what everyone hoped and prayed she WOULDN'T do with her power. After her, Liliana ordered the Staff to be buried so that no one else could use it. Vanda dug it back up again years later seeking the same power, using it to control local animals to do her bidding (like Saint Olga directing the burning pigeons to burn her enemies). Servants of Vanda and her relatives who hadn't been killed yet worked together to hide the Staff somewhere - the big question is where. No one has seen it in 100 years, officially. It has a vein of Tanzenvite in it as well as the ground-up powder from a corcrabuq's horn, it has a curvy top, and it has quartz gems in it. Since gems don't shine, they reflect, the original symbolism was supposed to be that the Staff merely showed the great power that the Karanyan monarchy already had and was capable of (a reflection, if you will) rather than a thing that you used to be overly powerful when you were powerless to begin with. The Staff is best known for its psychic enhancement, granting people lost memories and, again, a clear mind to come up with solutions to problems, and thus it is desired by poor folk down on their luck as well as power-hungry monarchs.
