She loved a girl named Felicity almost 500 years ago. Felicity is the only person who she has ever cared about more than herself.
Any Exes?
Felicity was killed by a group of rebels from the Department, led by Antonella Horvat. They tied everyone in the village up and tossed them in the river, as a way of doing it much faster. Zou was bound and lined up to be tossed as Felicity was, and watched her drown. Luckily another field agent showed up and dealt with the rebels before Zou’s demise, but it was too late for Felicity.

Feeling that heartbreak she felt with Felicity again, and death. She wishes for death but it terrifies her at the same time.

She wants to see Felicity again, or at least avenge her death.

She has a habit of looking down on people and making them feel small. She also has a very solid set of beliefs that are almost impossible to change.

She likes to read, and was one of the first female students at Oxford. She has a degree in Literature from the 1920’s.
What do They do for A Living?
They are the oldest and most respected Field Agent in the Department. The Department identify persons or animals that have illegally travelled from one Geom to another. Once they are identified, it’s Zou’s job to decide whether to send them home, send them to a refugee camp or eliminate them. She mainly deals with people who’ve ran away due to war or famine, but has been involved in shutting down drug, weapon and sometimes human trafficking.

Describe Their Appearance?
She’s about average height, her face is round and sharp with a long, pointed nose that turns up at the end. All her clothes were made herself, using the same scratchy material. All her dresses hang around her ankles, the soles of her boots flap as she steps. She’s thin with almost no figure to her, just a stick. She doesn’t care about her appearance much, which explains why her mop of curls are always a mess. Her spectacles are so thick you can’t see her eyes. Some things deteriorate after such a long time, including eyes and teeth. She’s completely blind, but stole/crafted some cursed glasses from G6.

She has heard every song before so many times, so she tends to just listen to whatever is new. She prefers classical or music without lyrics.

She won’t admit it, but Felicity made a mean iced bun.

She’s been attacked and hurt in many different ways over the years, but the memory that sticks in her mind the most is Felicity’s pleading eyes as the light went out in her eyes.
